German quality standards don’t lie.
Most people in the Western world get through life on a raft of excuses, lies, manipulation, charm, politics, half-finished promises, half-baked ideas and crappy work.
If you actually DO a job task to the best of your ability, and make the result EXCELLENT - this is not called ‘perfectionism’ - this is called ‘doing a good job’.
The Germans appreciate ‘quality’, and do not settle for less, and that is why their society runs better, more efficiently, and they have the strongest economy in Europe ALL THE WHILE working the least weekly average hours in Europe.
Note: You do NOT need to be a ‘perfect’ person to do a good job! NONE of us are perfect. Everyone has disadvantages, weaknesses, difficulties they have to overcome. The Germany of today is NOT the Germany of the 1940s! No-one actually thinks like that in Germany anymore.
Anyone can do a good job if they put the effort in, be patient, have enough time and resources, and actually concentrate and really aspire to excellence.
